What I’ve Done.

Cooley on the Internet

I’ve been an internet junkie for years. I was the cool kid in high school who read “Frasier” fanfiction, and I can remember when “Chat Rooms” were the big selling point of AOL (also, I remember when AOL was a relevant company!). I ultimately got a career working for a web company before launching myself into law school, but I’ve done a few cool things on the web between now and way back then. Here are a few interesting links featuring yours truly on the web…

  • My senior thesis and Scholar of the College project, Touched Already By A Glory That Leaves No Man Ever Quite the Same: Charisma in Modern Campaign Rhetoric,” examines the evolution of political charisma from JFK to Clinton to Obama. If you have a few hours to spare and enjoy the campaign season as much as I do, this could be just the thing for you!
  • When I worked at xtraxtra.com, I was in charge of marketing and helped launch the company blog. You can see lots of my old posts on that site. I also did an interview with VentureFizz, an online tech blog, to discuss the challenges and victories of an online startup. You can read it here.
  • Last year, my friend and fellow BC grad Chris Serico started “Pop on the Clock,” a pop culture podcast. I had the pleasure of being his first guest. The episode was lots of fun and features monumentally important topics like the Emmy awards, my feelings on Glee‘s downward slide, and the wonder of Harry Potter. Pop culture is, and always has been, my comfort food, so this was just loads of fun.
